Residential Floor Panels

Lightweight ALC floor slabs for quieter, stronger, energy-efficient homes.

Prefabricated AAC floor systems with load-bearing strength, acoustic comfort, and rapid installation

Caldera Residential Floor Panels are factory-made Autoclaved Lightweight Concrete (ALC) slabs that combine load-bearing performance, acoustic insulation, and speed of construction in a single system. With a typical density of ~600 kg/m³ and compressive strengths of ≥ 6.0 MPa, our lightweight slabs reduce dead load on framing and foundations while maintaining solid, concrete-like feel underfoot. Standard thickness options—75 mm, 100 mm, 125 mm—let engineers match span, stiffness, and comfort targets without overbuilding.

Beyond structure, ALC’s cellular matrix helps dampen impact and airborne noise between floors and contributes to thermal stability, supporting comfortable interiors and efficient HVAC operation. Precision manufacturing means cleaner fit-ups on steel or concrete framing, less on-site cutting and wet trades, and faster, more predictable project timelines for custom homes, townhouses, laneway homes, and additions.

Applications, Compatibility & Reasons to Choose

Ideal for single-family homes, duplexes, townhomes, garden suites, and laneway homes, Caldera floor panels suit main floors, second-storey systems, mezzanines, and loft conversions. They’re especially valuable where lighter structure, quieter living, and quick installation are priorities—tight infill sites, retrofits, and staged renovations.

Compatibility & Why Caldera. Panels bear on steel or concrete beams using standardized angle-steel ledger details and mechanical lifting for rapid placement. They accept MEP penetrations cleanly and work with common finishes (underlayments, toppings, tile, engineered wood, resilient flooring). Choose Caldera to reduce superstructure sizes, accelerate schedules, and improve in-use comfort—a single AAC floor system delivering strength, speed, acoustic performance, and long-term durability for modern residential construction.
